Hi Everyone!

We have now fully switched over to a new host, and are getting into the swing of things for ‘fest 09. :excited: I would like to Thank Jeremy (theribdoctor) for his hosting and support last year, we really couldn’t have made such an impact without a website, and he provided the hosting for us. Thanks J! The new design for this site should be live Monday, and we will have more and fun things for you to do! As far as the fest goes, it is slated for April 4th, 2009 At stone mountain park. So far we have a booked DJ, amazing support from our sponsors, and much more merchandise to aid in reaching our goal for the Charity.

Last year we brought in nearly $1,300 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and we hope to reach a minimum of $2,500 this year. With your help, and continued support from our sponsors, I think we can do it.

The new tshirt design is coming along nicely, and i hope you will be impressed. We have found a new shirt manufacturer, and in doing so have been able to lower costs, so that means more savings for you AND more $$ for the charity. win win, huh? We also have some other merch that is still under veil. I will be revealing it in the coming week as soon as we have some numbers, prices, and designs done.

Unfortunately at this time I cannot unveil WHO will be attending the event with us, but if everything works out, we have some pretty cool things in the works.

Alex Roy is bringing Polizei M5 144B to Atlanta, GA to participate in (what we hope will be) The World’s Largest BMW Parade (http://www.clubbimmer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2) and 4ngiefest so it’s a given that will are inviting any and all friends and fans of rallies, sports cars, racing, Cannonball Run, “Alex Roy The Driver”, the Gumball 3000 and/or Team Polizei are invited to join us for an official/informal event Friday night, April 4th…location TBD!

Any suggestions on a centrally located venue where I can park a nice German Polizei M5?

There’s a small blurb in the Events section of the February 08 edition of EuroTuner. Hopefully, this will help out with our efforts to break the world record and have a successful meet! Please note: The starting location for the Guinness World Record drive has changed. We are now meeting at the Chateau Elan.
