Well this year was a definite success! I really don’t even know where to begin with all of the thank you’s and whatnot.I guess I’ll just start here..

Throughout a few pitfalls, changes in personal lives, and a few speed bumps getting there… 4ngiefest 2010 was the biggest yet, and also the best year we have had. Thank you to all of the people involved and who has volunteered their time and efforts to make this thing happen.

I want to say a thanks to our sponsors for even enabling us to put this on. Without you guys, we would not have been able to do anything. So thank you to Jason and Evan from getBMWParts.com, Rob @ UUC Motorwerks, Jim Ellis Audi, COR Wheels, Khoalty, Shane Ewing (Our DJ) who flew out from LA last minute to provide some tunes, Donnie and Steve at Design House for the shirt production, Emily Covi (SixSquared) for the shirt design, Mike R. at Jellybean Greetings for the decals and stickers. Stanceworks for bringing a crowd and that bad-ass car! Ivan and Anthony for the GX HID kits too!

I also want to say thanks to Sharon at the JW Marriott, and their entire staff. The concierges, guest services, and especially our bartenders.

I want to say a big thanks to everyone in the background who doesn’t have a company or a business card. We mostly are all just user names, but every year we get together to put a name to a face and meet you all. People like Swinford and Shawna who help getting the word out through friends like Stanceworks, helping Hass at the entrance, being a sponsor liaison, and promotions. Kpeng and the other photographers for the video footage and thousands of pictures, Gunnar, Christina, Ray, Daryl, Talha, Kalim, and everyone else who posts all over the internet to spread the word (even though some of them couldn’t make it this year), Farrah (my girlfriend) who jumped into the pit of fire and handled ALL of the t-shirt and decal sales at the event, put up with my insanity and still had a blast, Kevin for getting me the Control Arms and FCABs so I could even make the drive, Jason and Evan again for the after party and donations, getting me parts ASAP so I could leave, as well as the liquid refreshments all night, Seth for promoting and for helping get DUCKY home! Timmay for the after party at cheetah, Dan (4ngie’s brother) for bringing out the trailer for us, driving us around, and helping out whenever needed, Hass, Bridgette, Timmay, and whoever else was helping with lot entry and collecting $$, passing out stickers. Marisa & Vik, and everyone else from the northeast/MAR for helping promote.

Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered tickets, t-shirts, hats, and whatnot on the website. Even if we didn’t get you the shirt at the event, you will receive it in the mail as soon as I possibly can. (I really didn’t think we’d sell out!)

Thank you to all of the forums and moderators for keeping our threads open and clean. We gain support and attendance because you are the doorway to get to everyone. So thank you to Tim and everyone at e46fanatics and e90fanatics.com, bimmerforums, bimmerpost, the Porsche forums, everyone at the Audi forums, Mercedes forums, various racing forums, the Volkswagen forums. there are literally hundreds to list, and i don’t know them all, but thank you!

Thanks to all of our facebook friends that help spread the word. Also all of the various bloggers out there that help by linking to us.

Thank you to all of the people who just openly donated. Even if they didnt make it, they donated still for a good cause.

We were able to collect more $$ than we ever have, and the best part is that a check gets written to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Oh yeah, and thank you to VaderDave for not coming, even though he did help with promotions and advice. We love you!

Recently there has been some concern that 4ngiefest will not go on in 2010. To some extent, Angie and I have been worried, but we have some strong backing by our friends, and we’re going to do the best we can to make this happen. We’ve all worked hard to get here, even you for attending.

This year we have an excellent idea. Some “friendly competition”…

We’re gonna bring in the other germans. Benz, Porsche, Audi… yeah, they’re coming. and we’re gonna rock this fest. All German, All day, All 4 charity. We think that this will not only spark interest in the other communities, but will also ultimately bring in more revenue for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As always, we do not keep a profit. Every dime collected is used for event expenses, and then donated 100% to the LLS. Bringing in the additional cars will not only provide more people to meet and greet with, but we want to be welcoming for all of our enthusiasts. We did have a few Benz owners show up last year, and we want to thank them.

In doing this we will need a little extra help in this event. If you’re interested, please email us via the contact page, or PM 4ngie or myself (beingdevious) on one of the various forums. We are still looking for a venue, so PLEASE, if you know of or have a place to park 500+ vehicles, LET US KNOW!

Also, if you are or know a provider that would like to be a sponsor, tell us! We will be looking for sponsors that cater to the other Germans as well.

Ah it begins!

We’ve got some great stuff coming up! Angie and I have been receiving a few things here and there, as well as drawing up plans. We’ve got some big things in the works, and have some really high goals we want to reach this year. We need everyone pulling strong and thinking about 4ngiefest 4.

We are looking at a few different venues, something to hold a large capacity (400+ cars) as well as possibly a stage. Additionally we may also be attempting for another world record!

I just want to make a little list of some preliminary goals:

1. 350+ cars
2. 500+ people
3. $5,000 in donation to the LLS

This year is gonna be a blast! hope to see you all there, and again visit our sponsors!
